C.1927, dk stained thick maple rim, flathead ’pyramid’ tonering (described as a ‘Mastertone’ in Gibson catalogue), individual shoes & diamond hole flange, fine quality nickel pltd hardware, rosewood fbd with ‘Nick Lucas’ style pearl inlays & phd overlay with ‘The Gibson’ logo, original Grover geared tuners, replaced tpce, rare variation on the Gibson tonering and much sought after for 5-string conversions, not surprisingly it is a powerhouse TB for jazz or Celtic musicality.
