C.1926, maple, bound ebony fingerboard & phd overlay with star & dot pearl inlays, maple rim with patent flathead ‘Electric’ scalloped tonering, original Grover geared tuners with newer geared 5th, fine all original hardware except for Rogers cast tailpiece, original case with Hawkes & Sons badge, neck is straight but has been refinished by Dave Stacey to hide previous owner’s attempts at ‘decoration’ (no structural damage or repairs), rare and fantastic sounding example of iconic and much copied design, VGC, OHC.
