c.1929 thick maple rim, dk brown lacquer bound resonator, original 1 piece flange, c.1980s Deering flathead ‘no hole’ tonering, fine modern copy stained maple neck (maker unknown), rosewood fbd with ‘seagull’ inlays, pearl ‘Gibson’ & flower phd inlay, newer geared tuners (2 Planet type & 2 Schaller ‘Keith’ tuners) & Presto tailpiece, nickel plated hardware, originally a TB-1 tenor from the first batch of 1 piece flange banjos which has typical wear to plating and slight warping, plenty of wear to reso back but no structural issues or repairs, used by Jimmy Arnold on several recordings in the 1970s /80s and comes with an original copy of his LP ‘Strictly Arnold’, check him out on Bluegrass Today
